Grandpa Joe’s old toolbox sat on my garage shelf, rusty and dented. I hadn’t thought about it in years. Until today.

My son, Timmy, bounded in, cradling his prized wooden sailboat, now in two jagged pieces. “Mommy, fix it?” Tears streaked his cheeks.
